‘Sahasra’ means thousand and ‘nama’ means name. Lord Vishnu is believed to be the preserver, the one who saves. It is said that one of the easiest ways to pay respect to the Lord is by reciting mantras, strotras, and shlokas. This mantra will give benefit of Vishnu Sahasranama Strotra: ‘ It is a verse, and the effect of this verse is the same as that of Vishnu Sahasranama Strotra. It is said that by chanting this one mantra every morning, one gets relief from the difficulties in life.
